The purpose of the Services Committee is to provide recommendations to the Board on SIA programmes and Health Promotion activities, monitor the progress of these activities and assist the Board with the development of the annual SIA and HP plans. The purpose of the Maori Health Committee is to advise the PHO and Board on developing, implementation and monitoring the Maori Health Plan. This includes assisting/advising the Board on matters pertinent to Maori within Capital PHO. The Maori Health Committee act as guardians of the Treaty of Waitangi within the area of Capital PHO. The purpose of the Pacific Health Committee is to advise the PHO and Board on developing, implementation and monitoring the Pacific Health Plan. This includes assisting/advising the Board on matters significant to Pacific within Capital PHO. The Committee provide recommendations to the PHO and Board on other related matters e.g. cultural training & cultural safety and advice on emerging Pacific issues.
